I have tried numerous times to respond to comments made by all the poets. For some strange reasons, PH is really messing up on this one. I guess they don't like hippies!
Thank you Richard. I enjoyed reading ' The children of Woodstock.'.......10
Beautifully written in a pleasant pattern of rhythm and rhyme. The past has a history so meaningful. By remembering them, we can learn a lot and it shows us a path of peaceful existence.
Geeta, we all yearning for that peaceful existence. When we will ever learn that war is NEVER the answer? THX so much for your positive constructive criticism!
A beautiful and well crafted poem adorned with nice rhyme. Thank you, Richard, for giving us a glimpse of these wonderful generations. To my favorites.
Rose Marie, I'm very happy that you like this poem so much that you've added it to your favourites. I consider that an honour!
Always a pleasure to share fragments of that time with you and PH readers. And always an honour when you include my poetry in your favourites. THX so very much, Rose Marie!
Each and every single generation has its own beauty and strength and we can learn so much lessons in life.
A very wise observation, Rose Marie. I'm in total agreement with you!
And we have learned from that generation of love and peace. They fought against the Viet Nam War. And they really did believe in love and peace!
You are also the children of Kerouac and Ginsberg Bravo! ! ! ! I wish I was born before 1970
Oddly enough, Kerouac did not like the hippies. LeeAnn, not being born before 1970 gives you so much more time to keep writing those great tributes to the greats of that time! And you're so good at it!
A wonderful write! I have already voted this poem and taken it to my favourite as well
Always an honour! Thx so much, Dillip!
