You have written so many grand poems beyond compare or critism, that it is difficult for a novice such as I to intelligently say this, but I still am going to: this, in my humble opinion, seems to be an American masterpiece that stands easily on it's own with any other bit of poetry. You have created such a beautiful portrait here with such wonderous words. You've stirred my heart tremendously, as this so makes me think of my own,86 year old, mother. Thank you so much for putting such majesty upon paper.

As I was enjoying reading this very much it seems a small cognition jumped up and bit me on the toe. Seems to me that lots of older folk do seem to become a bit more generous and enjoy doing that. There is no doubt you will never grow old..... But perhaps the house you live in someday may want some weather-proofing. Beautiful poem and brings a nice morning grin to my old face..... Jim

So nice! How I wish that many more of us would manage to keep the child in us alive. If we allow the child in us to keep being amazed at simple things, to keep imagining, to keep our old ideals alive, we will live at a higher level. This comment was written by a child in a man :)
