The Changed Man Poem by hamid kareem

The Changed Man

Rating: 5.0

he stays in the light
never heard of the dark
he lived in spoil
and thought twas life
he grew with toys
and sought for friends
he looked around
and found in all a patch of black
with trembling hand
he ventured in the dark
just so as to be a normal lad
and back he came
alas! a changed man

You are quiet the poet too. I enjoyed this immensely.

Most people run from the darkness within themselves, never acknowledging it's existance. I believe we can only be whole by looking at and accepting ourselves as we truely are. A very deep poem with a Zen-like quality. I like it.

Humans are often changed by circumstances, but some say that's if one permits. A good experience..
