The Ceaseless Remembrance—ghazal Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Ceaseless Remembrance—ghazal

The heart is drawn to the shrine's fire and grace, again and again,
The veil lifts, revealing Being's hidden face, again and again.

Around the axis whirl the caravans of love, again and again,
The head bows low, unveiling devotion's embrace, again and again.

The dawn of beginnings fades, all endings too depart, again and again,
Eternal light crowns Hijaz with sacred trace, again and again.

On heaven's floor lie silver silences profound, again and again,
While golden days resound with Alast's embrace, again and again.

Bees in the garden hum their hymns of flame, again and again,
Within the halls resounds the Call's deep bass, again and again.

At Oneness' threshold rise the lovers in their round, again and again,
Multiplicity joins Unity's dance, again and again—
Shouting: I am the truth! again and again.

In memory's desert burns the lamp of my soul, again and again,
The bell of longing awakens the heart's deep place, again and again.

In ceaseless remembrance, O MyKoul, your heart resonates again and again,
As Mahmood meets Beloved, Ayaz finds grace, again and again.
