For what is life
if we cannot witness
the flowers in full bloom,
hear the birds singing,
feel the loyalty of pets,
know the joy that lie
in a child's laughter,
grasp the meaning
of silence,
and feel the wonders
that kindness brings?
For how can we comprehend
these sacred miracles,
and not feel the encompassing
and eternal love of the
Great Architect
who landscape
an ever- blooming garden
upon the tablets of our hearts?
