Maybe not that one, but one. 'Presumption', a good alternative for 'Instinct'. And a spadger a good one for a sparrow.
patrick, i like this poem—like its message and brevity. it reminds me of stephen crane's poetry (the guy who wrote red badge of courage) . like his, several of the poems you posted have punch or zing. i'd welcome new postings by you, reading more of your stuff. -glen kappy
The sparrow spread her beautiful wings and rose up to meet the horizon, never again to be gazed upon by the cat or his eyes. A really beautiful crafting, thanks for being picked member's POD.
