Far across the sea, I watched a blazing hue,
And my eyes feasted on the brilliance of the setting sun.
Beside me, the lulled sea moved on and on,

Below my feet, lay the sandy shore, Extending miles on end to infinite lengths, I lay on it with my arms out stretched, And my mind lost in the maze of unending thoughts........wonderful envision. Beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing.
I was lulled into a dreamy state until the tsunami came and spoiled everything! thanks Valsa-10
sa·lu·bri·ous səˈlo͞obrēəs/ adjective adjective: salubrious health-giving; healthy. salubrious weather synonyms: healthy, health-giving, healthful, beneficial, wholesome; archaicsalutary I found the climate salubrious antonyms: unhealthy (of a place) pleasant; not run-down. synonyms: pleasant, agreeable, pleasing, enjoyable, pleasurable, nice, delightful; More - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -i can't even PRONOUNCE THE WORD! which meaning do you mean? or both? and being in the company of mermaids sounds ok by me. but how to negotiate the scales? ? ? i guess you were really lazy or tired, to lie on the sand from the time of day when there was only one star showing and blue skies, to when there was a field of stars (and i bet it was black between them) showing.. you may get to see those caverns after all is said and done! for some strange reason, though there were not rhymes, it sometimes seemed as though there WERE (rhymes) . hmm? Is this a poetic trick you've discovered? ? bri :)
Before I could sense what was on, I found myself swept away by the current, To be cast in the abyss of the unnumbered, Those hapless souls, eaten up by the Tsunami waves! Valsa! it's a wonderful poem.....................10
There is something in this poem that takes me to today. We are all living through what you describe. The first few stanzas remind of the calm, and the setting sun of the warning of the passing away of the familiar. This is. the slumber we all reside in until a jolt arrives...and we begin reacting. I am still not certain that we can this state 'awake.' Brilliant verse, Valsa. To myfavourites.
