The Call Poem by Etienne Charilaou

The Call

The call of the feta is very great.
Gouda is good but cheddar is better!
I don't often get on my knees;
but I will for cheese!

Ricotta, I'd better not-a!
Brie - we'll see.
Camembert, I can bear.
Mozzarella, for the hella!
Roquefort, smell-fort!
Parmigiano, so nice-o!
Emmentaler - watch me holler!

Ah, the delights of maturity
cannot be overestimated!
It's only the price that leaves me
devastated!
