I don't understand why anyone even started this shopping day of Black Friday. I myself have always been well prepared,8 to 10 months before Christmas in near. Such a beauty of a write especially at this time of year Practicing Poetess.

Thank you, Eva, for commenting. Back in my parents' day, people used to have Christmas Clubs where they could save money year 'round for Christmas purchases, but I'm not sure too many people have those now. I DID hear one happy news story about Black Friday. A Secret Santa went into a department store, and paid off everyone's layaway purchases! I think Black Friday is all about making £££ for the retailers!
