The Butterfly Poem by Alvin Mingle

The Butterfly

Rating: 4.0

When you flapped your wings that day
Little did you know, you just said come what may.
The winds that blew that fateful day
Ignited a flame, which burns today.
That gentle soul sitting alone at the pool,
Raised mighty winds, across many stools.
Touching another lonely Soul
One whom you never knew.
So, flap your wings, gentle Butterfly.
And let your bright light continue to shine.
The gentle flame you set alight,
Will continue to shine and burn abright.
