The Burning Candle Poem by Rini Shibu

The Burning Candle

Rating: 5.0

The Candle you lit in the dark
Spreading the light all over
Your face is shining in the light
More brighter than ever before
The aroma is flowing around
In every breath you smell it
You cover me from the breeze
which is trying to blow me
The warmth of my flame
You will feel of your palms
Stay away from the flames
Or you will be hurt
The dark shadows are reflecting
As you come closer to me
My heart is aching
Tears are dripping
I won't see you for long
I am burning and melting inside
Soon I will be Consumed by the flames
And the wax will be scraped off.
