The Burgle Poem by Richard D Remler

The Burgle

..........

Millie's a burgle who burgles a lot.
Burgling treasures that others will not,

...always burgling wickedly cleverdy things,
Like dobbles, and biscuits, and pineapple strings!

She burgled a beetle on Bourganstein Road.
She burgled a nearsighted porcupine toad.

She burgled a french fry right off my plate.
And she burgled the toe-plugs from my roller skate.

And, tomorrow she's planning to burgle a boof,
A something she's spied up on Furly Fine's roof,

A three-eyed sort of something all horned with a toof,
That callumphs and clidderhoffs each little hoof,

And it's gonna be burgled. That much I know,
Because Millie's a burgle, and she told me so!
