Was it a coincidence! today I closely watched a bud in my garden for almost 2 hours while working on my laptop and saw it blooming and becoming a flower. I never thought it the way you mentioned thought the fragrance of it might have spread all over in open space but for sure in close room it would be good to smell and cherish. A fantastic poem. Loved it.
This poem has such a tender way of expression like the consideration of the speaker for the buds. It is a great Spring poem: floral and fresh like Spring itself!
Flowers are naturally beautiful, no doubt. But sometimes I wonder if their beauty is further enhanced because their life is so short. Apart from human hands, nature too can destroy them easily. Any way, the piece is refreshingly good.
l walked through our circular garden I saw lacy leaves And a riot of summer color Budding flowers........fantastic beginning. A beautiful poem so nicely executed.
Wee beautify our environment with flower plants and beautiful gardens. Sometimes gusty wind and summer rain take way the beauty. You have astutely inscribed in this poem as follows..... But nature sometimes is harsh It pours its fury It only takes one gusty wind And a heavy summer rain To take away the beauty Of every budding flower. Beautiful poem really. It is my second visit.
You are quite right.... Rose Marie! Unfortunately one gusty wind or a torrential rain can destroy all the beautiful blossoms! Like you, I too love to have a garden inside the home! So I keep fresh flowers and plants inside my house! A beautiful poem!
The beauty of every budding flower.! Only buds have the possibility/future to bloom into beautiful flowers! Already grown flowers have nothing more to offer! You are a sweet bud dear Rose! Grow into a beautiful flower! Pray for your bright literary career! God bless you!
A wonderf poem Rose the sight of the budding flowers is really beautiful and we wish their beauty would last but nature can be harsh too and take them away. We can only enjoy the beauty while it last.10
But nature sometimes is harsh It pours its fury It only takes one gusty wind And a heavy summer rain To take away the beauty Of every budding flower. A touching truth!
It takes great care and attention to nurture a thing of beauty and it only takes one blow to destroy it. Hope we learn the lesson and protect our treasures of beauty. Nicely brought out in your poem.
Glad you liked it, Tirupathi. Thank you so much for your time.
How soft and sweet this poem is! While reading your poem, I looked at the roses in my vase, and realised how lovely they unfurled their petals in just few days; as they were in bud when I cut them. A very delicate write!
Thank you for the kind words, Mihaela. You always have good insights whenever you give comments and I really appreciate such kind gesture.
You saw lacy leaves in circular garden and beauty of garden motivated mind. Crystal vases have fully bloomed. The beauty of winter motivates every budding flower shines in even summer rain. A nice imagery is drawn in this poem. This is interesting and beautiful.10
