Very nice metaphor and it's so deep.. I agree that love sometimes makes us that sad(!) although it's a necessery of our being..Thank you for sharing, sir..
If you read my poem 'forget me not'....it's embodying love in the (forget-me-not) flower.....you can read it if you didn't......i don't agree that love brings sadness....but it's a nice poem indeed and nice metaphor again thanks for sharing
