When was this poem Written? . It mentions Glen Eva. A station leased by the Patullo family
This poem was written, not by Patterson, but by Charles Augustus Flower, who was, at the time, a cattleman in far south western Queensland. Charles and his brother Horace were both cattlemen and bush poets in the area in the late 19th century. A lot of poems of anonymous or unclear origin were published as works of Patterson, but in this case, the original authorship is clear. Please correct this error in your site.
