why doesn't the breeze just wait till Spring and blow them back on? it would save the tree a lot of work making new ones. bri ;)

Hi Clarence I would love a poem in the Jamaican dialetic, This poem is wonderful. I love the wonder of an autumn breeze. I like writing poems about autumn. You can see An Autumal Lyric or Autumal Renaissance if you want to read my stuff. However I can speak this wonderful dialect. Let it go and give me something and write a letter when you do. Peace, Paul

Such a beautiful song, a sweet song, breeze that blows away the pressure (dried and old leaves) from the tree so that tree can rejuvenate and regrow green leaves.Marvelous observation of a nature.

LOL, a fun poem to read. ' The breeze serves its purpose' And every year I'm sure the breeze blows all those leaves into my yard to rake.

The poem deals with the natural facts about trees and related changes in trees on subjects which is a true and clear picture on nature. I think that this is a wonderful poem and took this opportunity to read and enjoy several times particularly the repetition of ending sentences....

I do agree with you, Clarence. The subtle breeze has its own purpose, like any breeze or storm coming our way serves its purpose to strengthen us who is walking on the way...

Trees in Florida are trimmed of their leaves before each hurricane season- And for the very same reason! I like this poem- especially for its rhythmic Jamaican lilt! Thank you Clarence!
