The Book Of Knowledge Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

The Book Of Knowledge

Rating: 5.0

All books gathered
In the hall of fame
To select the best of the best
The book of physics stood up
Fully loaded with equations of the universe
The book of mathematics
Found its way to the front
With its belly full of numbers
The book of chemistry cooked up a storm
With its story of photosynthesis
The book of biology was stranded
On a double helix of DNA
The book of philosophy shined the light
On the great minds of our times
The book of religion stood up
And quoted a verse
The book of Love extended its arms
And held them together in Silence

Ow, what a marvelous poem! I first thank you for wonderful imagery and imaginary. Inscription regarding different books is so astutely and interestingly delineated. My favourite lines are...The book of religion stood up / And quoted a verse / The book of Love extended its arms / And held them together in Silence. Great work. Five stars.
