The Boogeyman Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

The Boogeyman

He grew up
Just a misunderstood kid
But not even he explain
Why he did what he did.

Now years go by
but he still thinks the same.
He's a master at
this cat and mouse game.

With a mask so white
and eyes so black.
He has no problem with
stabbing you in the back.

This is Halloween
He is sure to make a scene.
The Boogeyman's coming out tonight.
Hush now don't make a sound,
there he is looking around,
My the size of that knife.

Don't stand in front of that man
He will do whatever he can,
just to make the whole town scream
and get his revenge on Halloween.
