The Bones In My Body

Rating: 4.8

The bones in my body,
They're the only true feelings inside me;
Love, lust, and the swelling of my heart,
They're just masked disasters waiting to consume me;
I've been hurt in ways many can't imagine,
What I was then taught was love, was just another creature;
Love is a big choice not of the heart but of the mind,
If you don't chose correctly you'll make it to the Pearl Gates alone;
Wanting love and lusting is seeing the horrific future through a crystal ball,
You know you'll get hurt but you try it just for the feeling of security, that is fake;
The true security is being yourself around someone,
Being able to be open and do anything you would try on your own, with them;
Love use to be true but since human creation, man has manipulated love,
Only few in this world know what the true meaning of love is, they're very fortunate;
Some get to experience passion through their days of life but that's not quite enough,
What's wrong with the world today is people are too focused on themselves;
Though you need to be independent you'll kill yourself from the inside out not asking for a hand,
The path to knowing your heart is separating your desires from your needs;
In the end the most important thing is knowing your inner self and your surroundings,
'Never lose sight of what is most important to you; '
Just because you are tough doesn't mean you're not able to be emmotional,
Help your family and friends, count your blessings and it'll show you that life goes on;
