I have been hurt to the depths of my soul
Longing to be loved correctly
Praying that all the pain would subside in my heart
I didn't want to face the reality of being broken again
But then you happened
I wasn't looking, the moment you came in life
I thought you were going to be like the rest
Until the moment you took me out on the boat
We floated around talking and looking at the stars
Then you put your hand into mine in your truck, and all my troubles melted away
I felt like we were meant to be the first day
And the moment my eyes met yours
I had reeled you into my heart, just like catching a big fish
I felt like I have known you all of my life
You're on my mind constantly
And I miss you like crazy whenever we are apart
I want forever with you
And I pray that we can make this work
Because baby, I am madly in love with you.
