It is a great philosophical poem having a nice paint in the black canvas of life in order to make a graceful life. The depiction is much impressive and interesting to readers. It has nice theme too. I want to cite some lines here..... Why should i surrender from brushing beautiful muse Because I am stand here as an artist to my own life It's not the end, just the beginning Giving the best color.......... Thanks for sharing.

A great work, Soul. This reminds me that black absorbs all colours. Perhaps some see that as problematic as none of the light is reflected back. Perhaps a more profound way to observe the black canvas is to see that it is inviting and welcoming of all, and because of that, truly inspiring. Emerging in new life indeed! Again, a great poem, Soul.

U.S., thanks for sharing. someday i may get around to sending a message with more editing comments from me. LET ME KNOW WHEN your EDITING WORK IS DONE! ! thanks for the poet's note; very helpful for understanding poem. as for too early to loose....i think you want lose? it is an easy mistake to make, if it is a mistake! the idea of being able to improve ones life conditions through determination and hard and/or steady work or skill/art is appealing, though i don't think the opportunity is available to all. :) bri

When Soul paints the canvas assumes different proportions and the black background is simply yet another privileged base. An enviably well crafted draft and I share the view of Diane Hine, dear Soul.

Yes, beautiful write, I just loved it the way you wrote..It was not in our hand that we can choose white or black canvas but definitely it was in our hand to make the best and best out of it..Some ones life starts with hurdles and keep on fighting till the end, but a canvas is filled with different colours, you stands out to be the best..As you had carefully chosen each colours and shades....I loved it...
