Yes, indeed only birds live a free life and is why they sing joyfully to live a nice life! Men have to learn how to divert their attention from all ills they have to suffer through out their life! Nice to read your poem! All the best!

Quiet unknown of the fact that The world is full with agony and pain, We grow jealous when bird sings In a melodious tone And in lovely sunny day We sit here and moan. Contrasts of the lovely bird song And the hard realities of life that we face everyday. Very well written conveying the pain and sufferings. Thank you dear Poet. tony

You have set in the contrast beautifully. I reminds me of Shelley's 'Ode to Skylark'. Teach me half the gladness That your heart must know Such harmonious madness From my lips would flow The world would listen me then, as I am listening now

How lucky that the bird can sing in harmony with his world. Oblivious to the evil and anger in the human world. If only we could all be as happy as the birds.

Wonderful poem. Life often seems so unfriendly and difficult but if we take time to listen to the birds and take a look at the skies, life is beautiful. Not easy but beautiful...

The bird sings innocently ignorant of the fact the people who live in this world are terrorized each moment and live in agony and pain. A comparison most effectively and beautifully brought out in this bird poem.
