Some have eyes, but do not see. And ears, but do not hear the silent cries of the forsaken. A strong message. May your words find receptive hearts.. 10/10. Warm regards, Sandra

Well, you have a valid point there Sandra...no argument against it...your write reflects the hard realities of life found everywhere...more pronounced in nations that fall behind economically But celebrations are part of worldly affairs...a country a religion a society a family or an individual, if be compassionate enough towards needy, has a right to celebrate but without wasting resources unduly A good piece that instills awareness...10

It is a perfect example of rich poor difference well exposed through this poem! The divide is very large! The fault lies in the system we follow that does not allow reducing the gap between the two! A matter for all to think and change the system before it is too late!

Trend is that not to go by the true values of life....pomp and pleasure are the eyes the rich look through....their extravagance makes the poor blind..indeed a good write as usual....

Could not agree more Sandra - - it must be unendurable for many in such circumstances. A heartfelt cry against systems of inhumanity.

weddings are only becoming costlier these days because of the add ons....in madurai in tamilnadu....posters of the whole family is at display in front of the mandapam...if any politician is invited....he needs to be invited right from the entrance of the city with arches and banners...total waste of money...a very practical poem sandra
