are you sure the photo is not of a young raven? i'm not sure. do you call 'crows'....rooks.......over there? this omen of change has visit my house.............how about ....does visit my house? or visited i'm liking the poem (so far) , but..............messengers and bearers..........i believe. :) would i lie to YOU! ? I'm awfully glad the window pane survived at least! bri: :) i snooped in my stepdaughter's email account once; it was VERY revealing! that's what she gets for leaving her account open on her mom's computer! ha! ! !

The sense of doom lurks as your own instinct kicks in that something is not quite right. The crow represents your intuition that the fear you feel is not imaginary but real as you find the truth online. Powerful and beautiful write Annette!
Like doing his dance! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
The sense of forboding gripped me on this one. I really think everything in life is symbolic; some symbols more evident than others, but all things that happen to us are meaningful and there's underlying connections in everything, though we're seldom aware of this. OK enough serious stuff: off to read more of your poems.
