O.K., I just found out the name of the spring in the picture. It's Grand Prismatic Spring. It’s the third-largest hot spring in the world and the largest in America.

This well written and wonderfully descriptive poem reminds me of the word procrastination. He's going to get it done, but it sounds like it will never really be done. Great plans are not worth much if they stay plans instead of action. I hope he finishes the poem so you do get to read it.

thanks for the poet's note. Kim, I’d glad you clarified (sort of) that the “best poem ever” refers to the poem-to-be from your brother. otherwise I would have figured you meant one of mine, and I would, of course, wish to know which one of MY many GREAT POEMS you were referring to. you managed some good rhymes. yes, let’s not hold our breaths! of course, if it is a ‘real stinker’, we may need to hold our breaths. do you own any scuba gear, as in oxygen tanks? THANKS for offering this to be in my/our August showcase for PH poets on my site. it shall be a fine addition. bri :)

The picture is of one of the thermal springs in Yellowstone National Park. I don't remember the name of the spring.

a 100's not old for you, Kim. Resume buying green. Have a look at Banjo Paterson's 'The Pearl Diver'
