The Bend In The River Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

The Bend In The River

Rating: 5.0

She picked up the pieces,
Scattered far and wide,
As the storm passing overhead
Flattened all her dreams.

How little had been restored,
She knows, God knows!
Such massive holes adorn,
The fabric punctured!

Life as she knew it
Never came back;
The path she had travelled
Remained blocked in the past.

She is no longer the same,
In body and spirit…
As if two different people
Walked the path of her life!

We all go through this stage at one point of time. Acceptance plays a major role in shaping up the future
