Brilliant, had me smiling about the BBT

Dan, I so enjoy your humor. Even so, embedded in its first three stanzas, you present the difficulties in sharing old fairy tales and legends- scaring our wee ones half to death before sending them off to dream.. or to endure a nightmare or two. I am glad your poem had both a solemn part and a merry part. Humor, I think, always has its roots sunk deep in sorrow or pain. Well done piece.
