The Bed Of My Burning Love Poem by Paul Pruel

The Bed Of My Burning Love

Rating: 5.0

I considered a woman
especially my beloved one:

The flower of my eyes - bulaklak ng aking mata
The light of my home - ilaw ng aking tahanan
The pulse of my heart - pintig ng aking puso
The smile of my lips - ngiti ng aking labi
The cry of my lusts - sigaw ng aking pangungulila
My dream star - pangarap kong bituin
My miracle medicine - gamot sa t’wing ako’y nanghihina
The bed of my burning love - kanlungan ng nag-aapoy kong pag-ibig
And my delicious coffee and pie in the morning- panulak at pantulak ko sa bawat umaga.

But guys don’t get me wronged: Women are not hot commodities for men's great desire for fun and sexual satisfaction: Women should not be treated like this. They would not be abused either. They are human beings who need respect, compassion and love. Without them men are lonely and the world would become a dead darkened room for men to roam around. In the Bible - Eve was taken out from Adam’s ribs and after they made love the civilization of men and women started and at that time the women were being controlled by men. Nowadays women can do most of the things that men do most of themselves. Women are competing now with men in all the fields of endeavors: from politics down to janitorial jobs, from fashions, entertainments and other professions. Women could be good leaders too for a nation. In the Philippines we already produced two women presidents, and in the Senate and Congress the women are participating actively in the making of laws of the land and in propagating governmental projects throughout the countryside. I honestly salute them. And that they deserve my respect and love!
