This was read at my husband's burial and it helped a little to fill the void he has left in my world.

This is so beautiful. I was crying while reading this remembering my late little brother who has gone seventeen years ago. Talk not of my departure with sighs in your hearts; close Your eyes and you will see me with you forevermore.

My thoughts, too. I also cried. So many of my loved ones are gone, and I will soon join them.

Great poem reflecting realization of the rhythm of life by the poet as also the fact that birth and death are the two most important events in a man's life and both must be celebrated with equal sincerity. Thanks for sharing it here.

People fear death, but here its reveled with the mystery of a new beginning, a triumph in the moment of everlasting, this is a perfect poem. I would choose this to be read upon my own death.

What a thrill to have come across this magnificent poem! Every stanza is written so beautifully. Love how the poet takes us through each step of the dying, death and after death process. Saved to my list of favorites just so I can easily retrieve and read this wonderful write over and over again,
