The Beauty Of Autumn (A Visual Feast) Poem by Practicing Poetess

The Beauty Of Autumn (A Visual Feast)

Rating: 5.0

Cool, crisp, brisk
Slight chill in the air
Children jumping into stacks
Of vibrantly-coloured raked leaves
The smell of leaves burning
The scent of pies baking
Pullover sweater- weather
Caramel and candy apples
Carnivals and fairs
Hot cocoa and marshmallows
Warm stews and bread
Early to bed
Shorter days, and long restful nights
Bright Harvest Moons
Autumn, the best season of all!

Thank you so much, Lorraine Margueritte! Autumn is my absolute favourite season, and by far the prettiest (well, maybe Spring might run a close second, as far as visual beauty.) Have a Happy Holiday Season! : -)

Thanks, Lamar! :) You know, on further thought, I should have titled it A Sensory Feast, because it was about more than only the colours, but the scents & flavours, as well.
