The Beautiful Day
I woke up this morning with rays of sunlight through my window
As I was going to work,
There was no tall building to block the sunshine
The wonderful rays penetrated my skin
And there was a smile on every face I saw
As I was walking home,
The sunshine turned into beautiful clouds
And the beautiful clouds into a divine rain
And a colorless rainbow appeared in the East
And mountain Etna was covered with a pure beautiful white snow
I was in the wonderful rain playing joyfully
Just like that little kid I was before
That little kid who will be playing in the rain with a candid smile
Until being rescued by the mother
And now as I lie in my bed, I miss the sunshine, the clouds, and the rain
And more the beautiful childhood
I miss it all, the beautiful day!
