Now this is what true poetry is about - reaching inside and finding the thing that wants release, that NEEDS release. But you know, beasts CAN be tamed... xxx
I really see what you mean with the similarities, mine is a dumbed down version though =(xx
The beasts are on the prowl. They make us write poems about them. Came here from your comment on D Harris's poem. I've just written one on the same theme from a different angle - The Restless River. Interesting to compare. Enjoyed your poem too young man!
Ramon, yes I see the similarities to that one I posted this morning. The concepts are similar, but the deliveries are different. Still, this is a brilliant poem my friend. Thanks for pointing it out to me. Top Marks. Thanks for sharing it my friend. David
wonderful poem. i have had the same problem i believe the key is to accept your beast within, and learn how to make it work with you and not against you. just some advice...its hard i still haven't totally been able to do it myself.
i love the language you use in this poem.. it flow great, the words you've used, really is a poem that makes you think about other sides you may have of your personality... it's very powerful! kimie x
You are right I see the correlation, I love the internal struggle I know it so well.
