I to don't envy this aspect of your job. A very compassionate write here Dee. Hugs, Diane
The longer you live the more this situation happens to us. I was thinking the other day about why, after the death of my Grandfather when I was fourteen and he was seventy two, was it that I chose never to attend another funeral other than my own. I still don't know why.....but I am glad I did otherwise at my age I would have a funeral to attend every week. We should all celebrate people and their lives while they are here with us. Very good write from you.
Oh dear Dee, I don't envy your job. Well done though on this write, no mean feat on capturing such a dreadful position. HG: -) xx
Dee, I absolutely hate this poem! Maybe, I avoided it before. This poem makes me angry! This poem makes me sad. I do not ever want to read this one again! You did this to me! - - - I am mad at you for that! You stirred up those things that nobody wants to deal with, and although it is a 'downer ' - - - it is one of the most powerful things that I have read in a long time! I think that you know me well enough to know that I mean every single word ... on some level! Dee, just in case you missed it - - - that was a ' Big-Time' compliment! ! ! Making others feel, nice or not, is what we do... isn't it? When life is easy ... then you can tell the easy truth too. ... One hug back at you, but, I am keeping the rest! B.V.A.
