The Battle You Know Nothing About Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

The Battle You Know Nothing About

You are in a battle you know nothing off
They made you qualify into the Olympics you never applied for
Right now you are in Rome
About to get into the bull fight
There are spectators and you won't even hear their cheers
But they will tell you what was happening once they see your tears
That is if you are lucky enough
This life is a competition
A real arcade game
Battle after battle
I am not talking about life being a struggle
No this ain't one of those motivational speeches
I'm not here to tell you how hard or tough life is
That you know on your own
All I'm saying is that someone somewhere
Usually close enough
Is in a competition with you and you do not even know
Be aware
