love this ballad it was a favorite (and still is) in my native nfld around Christmas time and any other time when there was a party, and that was often, my father`s cousin and my grandfather knew all of the old songs and recitations, have you heard one with these words? I`ve tried everywhere to find it but no luck here`s the words, they accused me of eating Bill but twas false, so help me God, I fed his body to the dogs then I ate the dogs.
