The Art Of Wine Writing Poetry Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Art Of Wine Writing Poetry

there was a time when we drank the wine
sweet or sour strong intoxicating words
poetic wisdom did swim in wine we drank
in time to wash our souls in grace divine
poetic inspiration in wine we may water
endless life written in creative imagination
we may struggle down an inspiring haunting
road dancing in mist music mystical paradise

imagination wine may induce a fit of wit
sharp drafted from inner eye deep well
imagination the wit of one becomes the wit
of many in echoed wit wisdom echoing
into silences wisdom spoken spoken has
profoundly broken only select few may make

a start play their part in parade company
of faith in inspiration but remember well
this truth I tell truth is in the wine truth
is in the wine truth speaks in wine fast
cruel careless unkind may be spoken
inflamed in wine therefore take a care
please beware when partaking of sacred grape
fermented fruit of vine then write wisdom

well wise may tell echoing down sacred halls of time
