The Art Of Letting Go Poem by Asim Baadshah

The Art Of Letting Go

I tried to unwrite you from my soul,
Erase the chapters, tear them whole.
Yet every time the wind runs free,
It whispers back your name to me.

I packed the past in quiet sighs,
Buried the echoes, hushed the cries.
But memories bloom like vines so tall,
No matter how I let them fall.

The sky has changed, the days move on,
Yet some goodbyes are never gone.
To let you go is not to lose,
But love in silence, not in use.

For hearts don't heal by walking away,
They learn to live with what must stay.
And so, though distance holds us wide,
You remain a shadow by my side.
