Beautiful imagery....I love many of your poems in that they reflect gentleness, insightfulness, and caring. You were blessed with kind and beautiful parents and the gifts they helped you grow you unselfishly share with all. Thanks!

In the cusp between the current year and the New year, it is so natural to look back to the times gone by! We have regrets many and hopes too; regrets about the dear ones vanished from our lives. We hope to wade through the slimy marsh of life by the strength got through our parents departed! Let us hopefully wait for a new dawn and the song of the lark! A great write! !

A fantastic poem, I always think of my parents about this time, it's been many years since they passed but this time of year always makes you think about them that bit more.

I like the lyricism of this poem its sense of longing and loss yet hopeful for the voice of Spring. waiting for renewal and the lark her tuneful herald. 10/10 Thanks for sharing BB: O)
