The Approval Seeker Poem by Panagiota Romios

The Approval Seeker

Rating: 5.0

-The woman fretted too much over this and then that.
-Was her hair the correct color or was she perhaps a tad fat?

-Did her neighbors really like her or was it all make-believe?
-She whimpered softly and wiped a rivulet of tears with her sleeve.

-She then remembered she was a child of God.
-And it was only His Divine approval that truly was worth a nod.

-It's better for her to be kind to others.
-And stop walking about looking for approval from her sisters and brothers.

Women worry a lot about their look and what people think, but thank God she realised that only God's opinion matters. Beautiful...10++

We worry about more than our looks and so unnecessary. All we need is a thumbs up from God. Humans help, but God is better, Thank you,
