It has been hot and with little rain all summer here. Yesterday it started to drizzle and I went outside to stand in it. I beseeched the clouds to open up a little more to ease my burden of watering hundreds of plants every day with just a watering can and buckets. Within a few seconds, a house on the corner, only 100 feet away, was struck by lightning. Two entire fire departments were there for hours (Although I didn't even see any smoke)
