The Angels Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

The Angels

Rating: 4.4

At the gate of a beautiful garden
The boy stopped on his way to school
Feeling that the swagging flowers
Were calling him to them.
Lost in the crowding fragrance
He stood there freeing his mind to float.
When he saw a small girl watching him
From the house, he left in despair.
He could not go straight
Without stopping there the next day
And for several days followed
Till his primary school closed.
As he approached the gate
The day the school reopened
He saw the girl waiting at the gate
With a red rose in her hand
And a blooming smile on her lips
She offered him the flower
And said, "I saw you among the angels
In my dreams"

A one of a kind write. So full of mystery and wonders. Yes, angels are one of the wonders of God that guards us and give solace.

Yhank you very much RMJ. Where human beings do not act according to the humanistic way God send the angels to react.

Thank you dear poet Anjandev. Small children are very much attracted to flowers and garden. When they are seen near a garden the owner doubts their intension. Generally they are driven away. But anybody with a heart to realise the tender heart's attraction to beauty will readily apprecitae them. Here a mediation of an angel became necessary for that.
