The Angelic Stranger Poem by Royston Nella

The Angelic Stranger

Who knows what angel we shall meet
in each stranger that we greet?
Who knows what visage so divine
from their face upon us shall shine?

Help me Lord in each person to see
Your loving eyes gazing upon me.
Help me Lord from their lips to hear
Your voice speaking plain and clear.

And as You, Lord in earthly guise
reveal Yourself before our eyes
please bless us both ere we part
with life enriched and gladdened heart.
