The Andhra Imbroglio
born out of bitter half century fight
the predictors of doom are proving right
no money for the new kid
mega plans look insipid
at tunnel's end it seems there is no light

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
politics' unwanted child, the new state stares at an uncertain future. It was known earlier, that the new state needs a lot of money-new capital, new infrastructure....All these were recklessly assured by the Centre, but when the time comes to deliver, it has developed cold feet.It was a very bad political decision to carve out the new state.
