In both poems, the ancient mariner plays the leading role. Amazingly rendered. The late poet loved drama in his poems and power. Great salute to Abu Hussain

Only 24 lines and yet the same sweetness, melancholy, touching, and beauty as The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge. Wishing the family of the late poet heartiest Congrats being chosen as The Modern Poem Of The Day.

FOUR: Both very interesting and impressive, the classic Samuel described an old sailor who has sailed many great seas and Abul Husain describes an old asthmatic man, an old sailor who was very sick and very old.

THREE: the siren's wail revives are associated with the distant seas he has known in the course of his travels. This aged old man reminds me sharp of that Ancient Mariner of Samuel Taylor Coleridge from 1834.

TWO: In Samuel Taylor Coleridge epic poem The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner is about a huge ship that had sailed seas and in this Modern Poem Of The Day is about an old man, asthmatic and almost half blind, and his dreams, the dreams

Samuel Taylor Coleridge wrote in 1834 The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, an Epic poem about a huge ship that sailed the great seas. This Modern Poem Of The Day chosen by Poem Hunter and Team describes an old man outside his porch all crumpled up
