let me now make an entry into MY diary! you seem to be a PH newbie. welcome aboard. as for oppugnant, i'm sorry......[not really]......also that i didn't supply you with a definition, but i'm afraid of Alpha Females, SO.....here, take THIS: " opposing; antagonistic" bri :)
I am actually not the alpha female this is about. This poem I wrote is about a character in a novel I wrote. I am trying to write poems to go with the books. But thanks for clarifying what oppugnant means.

The world is a foreboding place to carve out a living, especially when the living specters make mockery of reality by taking the stage for a scene or two knowing their reality does not transcend so they pretend to be real thinking there is no difference.
Your comment tends to focus on the deception aspect of this poem; which is good because there you expose that such can not take over true reality. Thanks for reading and responding.
