The 4 Lords Poem by Justin Gildow

The 4 Lords

In this countryside
The 4 lords rule
And they rule in the way they want to
Whether of blood red
Or the mark of true blue

Regardless of what anyone thinks
They fear the mother

Vampiric aristocrat and her daughters
Unstable engineer with his hammer
Insane dollmaker and her beloved doll
Watery freak who has been in the water
for way too long

The 4 lords
They bring about the lunacy of life and death
Grime and blood
Love and pessimism

My god, do they despise each other

Not sure if I'd wish to be a fly on the wall
Whenever they come to call
