Tonight under the starry light
I do Your great presences sense,
while the moon is radiant white
but nothing is in my visible sight
and this is actual and not just pretence.
Tonight under the starry light
there is tranquillity but nothing seems bright,
and I pray to You in Your omnipotence
while the moon is radiant white
and all of humanity does a deadly virus fight,
where I do pray that You do the world cleanse.
Tonight under the starry light
I have a sense of goodwill and have no fright,
know You do care for man in his existence
while the moon is radiant white.
My God I do call on you in all of Your might,
for my wife and the world I pray in incompetence
tonight under the starry light
while the moon is radiant white.
