That Yellow Blossoms Poem by Eden Trinidad

That Yellow Blossoms

Lingering, roaming around your orchard
On a drizzled day, so sad
You have passed away
In your coffin, you lay.

Admiring your orchard
I decided to roam around
Awed by the fruit-bearing trees
I smiled, I found again happiness.

My eyes fell on the bunch of yellow blossoms
There stood this yellow gold flowers
At the middle of your nice abode
Locking my eyes I couldn't abide.

I couldn't help but cry
I want to have it, Oh my!
So I picked one little stem
Look. I have you now in my own garden.

You will give me delight every morning
Till dawn and again in the evening
But there's something I want to know
What is really your name before I go?

My only regret is that
I was not able to take a shot
Of that awesome beautiful bunch
Of your golden flowers, I want to touch.

Simple things in life give me joy …
