That We Are Born To Die Poem by Francis Duggan

That We Are Born To Die

That we are born to die to all obviously clear
But it is only the fear of dyingmost people do fear
That death is a part of life happens to be true
It is something that does become everyone's due
Life is a journey why otherwise pretend
That eventually sometime and somewhere has to end
Of a life for the soul after bodily death who is to say
Though many to their god of choice daily does pray
You only can live to be the best you can be
And for the suffering of others feel some empathy
And for your future good karma plant the good seed
By helping anyone of your help in need
And practice the theory in give to receive
On such a philosophy of life one can only believe.
