Thank you Bharati Nayak for zeroing on to this piece so soon. I wish you could read Gujarati. Devanshu Patel's original is brilliant. I could not match his brevity and beauty so well. But yes, Indian languages have inherited the versatility of Sanskrit and can radiate with brevity, not perhaps English so well.
